Whether it's on the field or in the classroom, Concordia University's student-athletes excel. Since Concordia's inception, the varsity program has produced 364 Academic All-Canadians, 268 All-Canadians, sent 45 teams to national championship tournaments and won 13 Canadian university championships. In addition 13 individuals have won national awards.
The credit for Concordia's impressive record belongs to many people, starting with the Loyola College and Sir George Williams University athletes who laid down the proud traditions that exist today. The two prestigious institutions merged in 1974 forming Concordia University. Today, you can look to the dedicated coaches and support staff, who strive to provide student-athletes a quality experience.
